It looks great, and it works really well too. It's exactly big enough to make two large mugs of tea. By the time I have finished the first mug, the tea left in the kettle has retained its heat, which would never happen with ceramic pots. Tip: Rins pot with boiling water to rinse it and heat it up. Then make tea. That way, the boiling water for tea is not used to heat up the pot as much.While the outside is cast iron allowing it to be used on a stove, the inside is ceramic making it easy to clean.This is so beautiful I keep it out even when not in use. Holds enough water for one cup of tea at a time. Handle and kettle get very hot and have to hold the top when pouring. Stays hot for a bit.This is a really nice little teapot. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that you have to be a bit careful when pouring from it. Spills a little if you pour too fast.It holds about a cup and a third of liquid, which is good for 1 person. I recommend it.Just what I have been looking for. Love 2 drink hot tea, only me using it so I needed a small teapot, it makes 17 oz, just enough for 2 cups of tea, just perfect. As I suspected, the first kettle I ordered from a different seller rusted in some spots - even though it was enameled - and had horrible taste. Returned that one and found this green beauty. The enamel was even throughout the inside - no rust spots and no rust flavor after the initial boil to clean it. Feels very sturdy but not too heavy, the hand flexes both directions with ease. Retains heat about twice as long as my old pot. And the design is easy on the eyes. Seller got it here quickly and packaged very well, highly recommended.It's perfect for a few cups of tea while working or relaxing throughout the whole dayI love this teapot. It looks a little small at first. The colour is beautiful. I put it on the stove to heat up and remove just before boiling, and the paint is fine. If you use real teacups, like i do, it will pour 5 times. If a mug, maybe twice. It does not whistle. The inside is enamel and super easy to clean. It is heavy and the iron gets super hot, so use hotpads, i crocheted my own. Keeps tea hot for a long time. Best cutest teapot ever :DEdit. I've checked the ad for this because I have used it a few times and I have just noticed enamel coming off and ending up in my mug. The ad itself says it's stove top safe but google tells me it's not.While it's a nice I wanted something that wouldn't leave enamel flaking off. Looks like I should have kept looking.Disappointed. It's beautiful but not useful for me any longer.Shipping was fantastic. It arrived earlier than expected. The kettle is lightweight, easy to clean and works well. It is supposed to have a whistle but my first use there was no whistle. But that's not a huge deal for me.The handle gets a bit hot, so you'll want something to wrap around that when pouring but it's a very nice kettle.This kettle is very nice, heavy cast iron. Smaller than I expected, can only hold 3 cups for boiling. I use it only for boiling water on my wood stove.The porcelain finish is ending up bit by bit in very small pieces in my cup. I need to use a fine strainer to separate it when I pour the hot water.As a child we always had a pot of water on the wood stove to keep some moisture in the air. I needed a solid cast iron kettle small enough to sit on my wood insert and able to boil water. This beauty does just that. It looks great and and the quality is amazing. It will last forever and bring back many memoric conversations during power outagesReally nice little tea pot. I gave it 4 stars for being light weight, because its not, being made out of cast Iron with the ceramic coating inside it is a hefty little pot that certainly retains heat, and is great for putting on the stove top as it is designed for stove top use. It is small in size compared to a ceramic "brown betty" teapot but holds the same amout.
