I bought this for my wife who loves to have tea or cocoa at night. I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful this kettle is. I pulled it out of the box and the setup is really easy. The black looks very sleek and overall it does not take up much space on the counter. Once we’d washed it and filled it I fired it up. I set the temperature to 170 degrees and it started heating. The water started at 58 degrees and I swear I blinked and the water was at the preset temperature! Seriously, it only took 2 minutes! I set the pot to maintain the temperature and every time it dipped below the 170, the unit turned on and pushed it back to the requested temperature. This is going to be a great addition for the kitchen and even my wife, who does not like kitchen gadgets, seems to like this add. It also works great for pour over coffee. It got right to 200 degrees very quickly, and the gooseneck spout makes pouring really easy and precise.I love how easy it is to use too. Just turn the dial to set the requested temperature and you can change it anytime. You can also set it to get to the preset heat then slowly cool off instead of maintaining. So many versatile settings and useful features. We’re going to love having this quick and easy kettle at our fingertips.
