When I read the reviews of people complaining its too fragile I thought "These knuckleheads just need to stop handling it like a gorilla". So, I used it daily for about 2 weeks and loved it. Its the perfect size for a cup and a refill and the opening is plenty big for a tea infuser.Then I broke the side out of it by tapping my spoon on it while stirring. Doh!Still a great little pot ... I messed up, not the pot. Be gentle with it. Seriously. Its very thin glass, but its good.I love the looks of this little teapot - it looks cute on the countertop, and you can just stick it in the microwave to heat water for tea, etc. The lid heats up, so I leave it off when I put it in the microwave - this is the only reason I rated it a 4.This is a nice pitcher. The only problem is that the glass is thin which makes it difficult to handle if hot tea is inside. I use a cloth to hold it.Loved this teapot, it’s the perfect size, easy to lift and clean. I heat my water in the microwave so the handle does get hot enough to use an oven mitt to take it out. However the handle cools quickly. The material of this little pot is very light, but doesn’t feel cheap in any way. And best of all the spout does not drip!! I wold buy this again and highly recommend it to others.I've been using this for a few months now to boil water in my microwave to make my pour over coffee and it works great. It feels real light like it's not going to be sturdy but it is. I'm enjoying it.I started drinking hot tea on a daily basis not long ago, in part to cut down on my wine consumption:) I was frustrated the tea in an open measuring cup and it getting cold before I could finish it. (I don't like putting my cup in the microwave. No clue why that bothers me.) Anyway, I wanted a teapot that could go on the stove or in the microwave either one. This is perfect. Nice thin, borosilicate glass. Very pretty. Not heavy. Tougher than it looks. I heat the water in the microwave for 3 minutes, steep for 3 or 4 minutes, throw away the teabag, sit the pot on a little electric mug warmer, and have a nice hot pot of tea good for two or three cups. Best part of all, the spout is so well designed that when I pour the tea and sit it back on the warmer, it only drips one tiny tiny drop of tea down the front of the pot. Dries before it gets to the bottom. No mess. Like it so much I bought another one to have at work.We boil water for our coffee and tea. Easy to clean but a bit hard to handle the small teapot with a potholder.Better for small portions of cold drinks, definitely not good as a kettle. Waste of money, it gets really hot everywhere so you can’t handle it
