Beautiful, heavy to me but its ok its iron duh, easily holds enough water for two cups of tea ...I gotta look into to check how much water it has inside ...lol...you cant filled it much because if it boils water will come out. I know it now so not complains just a very cute little teapot.?This tea pot is perfect for me as I enjoy blending different herbsI cannot adequately express how much I love this tea pot. The basket has optimal filtration, the tea that’s still inside stays hot, and there is no excess dripping when it pours (I’ve had a lot of tea pots that either spill out over the top when tilted or drip off the nozzle when done pouring, but this one does neither of those things). Also, it’s just so beautiful. I love to look at it. A perfect marriage of form + function.This is truly a beautiful, unique, detailed ornate teapot. However, I was looking for a pink one, and this came up when I searched “pink teapot” (a few pages in, but still). In pictures provided on Amazon, it definitely looks pink; like a warm (almost salmon?) pink. That is the exact color I was looking for to help tie in a newly acquired kitchen rug. In person, however, this teapot is more of a true red—albeit a little on the muted side—with a slight tinge of terracotta, no pink whatsoever though as depicted in the pictures. I am pretty disappointed that the color was not what I expected or desired. I believe I will keep it though, as I personally hate returning things, but also largely because it is so gorgeous and it can in fact still be incorporated in my kitchen decor. It’s compact design makes it easy for bedside camomile as well! The interior is coated with a sort of ceramic looking finish that keeps it easy to wipe out too. I get about 4 and a half cups of tea out of it. The blue and gold is beautiful and fits my style perfectly. Although it was a true toss up between this one and the green and gold! If you drink tea frequently and all over the house I highly recommend this little beauty!Worth the price!
